Ceremonial Phiale With Central Painted Decoration. Greece, Early Hellenistic Period, 4th Century B.C. The Piece Has A Very Low Profile, Shallow Bowl With A Very Small Raised Rim. Painted Decoration In Stripes At The Center As Well As The Rim. Painted Decorative Motifs On A Circular Pattern And Accommodated In Mirrored Pairs, Looking Like Very Abstract Dolphins. Pigment Is Fading But Very Clearly Visible In Details. Two Small Holes On The Rim For Hanging The Patera. Excellent Condition. Provenance: Palmyra Heritage, NYC.
